There are many ways to get involved at The Farm at SOU! Join us for Farm Tours to explore our student-led organic farm and learn about our sustainability initiatives. Roll up your sleeves at Farm Fridays, where you can connect with the land and community. For deeper engagement, students can take part in practicums and capstone projects, applying their skills to hands-on research and farm operations. Stay connected and see what’s growing by following us on Instagram. Whether you’re visiting, volunteering, or studying, we welcome you to be a part of our farm community!
Request a tour by filling out our Visit Request Form. Filling out this form does not confirm your reservation. Our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out with questions and confirmation within 3-5 business days.
At this time tours are available:
Tuesdays from 8:30am to 10:30am
Thursdays from 8:30am-10:30am and 12:30pm-2:30pm.
Include three time and date options that work for you. Let us know what you hope to learn on your tour so we can offer you the best experience possible.
All visitors must sign an assumption of risk to visit The Farm. This can be uploaded ahead of time via the link below or filled out in person when you get to the farm.
We also ask that you fill out a Photo Release Form (this form is optional but it helps us showcase fun things happening at the farm).
